With offices in New York and Houston, Marubeni Power International, Inc. (MPII), formerly known as National Power Development, Inc., was established in 1986 for the purpose of representing Marubeni Corporation's interests in the power generation and transmission business in the Americas.

 

As part of our mandate, we are committed to creating long-term value, rather than limited short-term gains from our investments in power generation. As such, our strategy encompasses acquisition of established power generation portfolios or single assets, and late stage development opportunities. MPII is responsible for sourcing, due diligence and negotiating potential deals.

 

MPII is interested to hear about any opportunity to participate in power (and transmission) projects in the Americas, but we are particularly interested in North American portfolio opportunities.
